Tufting Workshop with Ecem Naz Dalmaz

Ecem Naz Dalmaz is a multidisciplinary artist born in Istanbul in 1992. She studied at Istanbul Fashion Academy before graduating from Istanbul Aydin University's Department of Journalism in 2014. In recent years she has focused on the hand-tufting technique, discovering the tufting machine and making it central to her practice, while painting continues to hold a special place in her work. Her pieces draw on personal experience, dreams, and the emotional and political undercurrents of daily life, often blending human and animal forms.
